Hussnain Ahmed

Chief Data Officer

Hussnain’s academic and technical background is in distributed computing and its applications for Big data and AI. Data is both his profession as well as a hobby. He has more than fifteen years of work experience and has enjoyed every bit, byte, to the petabytes of data that generated business and social value.

He started his career with Nokia Siemens and proceeded from there to work with Tieto, Sanoma Media, and UPM Biofore in Finland before moving to Rayn. He has worked with data applications in industrial automation, healthcare, telecom, media, and digital services. He specializes in data strategy, solution architectures, and data and machine learning ops (MLOps).

Hussnain has done his MSc (Technology) Design Business Management from Aalto University, Finland, and his BE in Computer Engineering from NUST. In his spare time, Hussnain enjoys playing occasional golf while he finds planting and growing citrus fruits very therapeutic.
